Jan Shaffer from Jackson, Michigan. Jan was a pretty darn good writer and ended up down in NAP TOWN doing PR work. I was just wondering where he is these days.

I have not spoken to Jan since we worked with him at the RCA Dome. However, I have him on my e-mail list..and I know he opened a Constant Contact e-mail I sent him on Fort Wayne. A good guy..I liked working with him.

I think he has a company Shaffer Communications. I may send him a note out saying we wonder how he is doing.

I forgot that in the 100 year celebration on the IMS website..I saw where Jan has been writing articles for the website...this is a good one about Tony Stewart written just before the Brickyard. There are more online.

Thanks Tony, Jan is a pretty good writer and gets his facts straight. Quotes from Mario interest me considerably. I once saw an interview with him on the tube and it was the most interesting interview pertaining to motorsports, I've ever seen.
