The last race of the year was run at Ventura Raceway last evening. It was a pretty good show as usual. Other than a few asphalt shows and some indoor stuff in December this marks the end of the season which always makes us kind of sad.
Myself and my family want to thank the folks responsible for making the Saturday evening live internet video feeds that have been available for viewing throughout the season. It's really a treat to be able to watch good dirt open wheel racing from a couple of thousand miles West on the flat screen setting in our favorite easy chair on nights when we aren't able to be at a local show and before and after the season begins and ends here in the Midwest. Thank you again for the great racing and the opportunity to watch it on TV! Now, if they'd only get an announcer that isn't so annoying to listen to. Oh well, nothing is perfect. LOL!

I certainly appreciate any effort to view racing for free, However I cannot watch it simply because of the announcer, Fake applause and all.
I hate to be blut, But there it is........

Charles, my wife feels exactly the same way. I normally turn the audio down to the point that I can barely hear it during the races and turn it up a bit between races. It's amazing how the guy talks normally between races and during yellow flag laps but goes right back into the silliness as soon as the green flag drops. He also does a great job of interviewing the winners after the races are over.
Hard to figure.
