This coming Wednesday May 14th DK Promotions will have their first race of the season. Kenyon Cars, Ford Focus, and Midgets will be competing at Anderson Speedway. There will be a variety of drivers with a lot of skill and passion. So I hope you all will come out, and maybe attempt to come out some time to see us this season!
Thanks A lot! :usac:

I am about 9 blocks from the track and the weather here is overcast and 61 degrees. The National Weather Service radar isn't showing anything in the way of moisture so I surely hope that it is a go. I tried calling the speedway but only received the automated attendent. I am sure that they would have changed that by now if they weren't racing. If I hear anything else, I will post it right away.

I just got through to Anderson Speedway and they are running this evening. Gates are just now opening and racing begins at 7:00 PM. I will be there and hope to see somemore IOW members in attendance.

We have picked up a slight mist in the air in the past 20 minutes or so. It is just enough to dampen the track so at this point I would say we are in a holding pattern. It seems to be light enough not to show up on radar. With cloudy skies and cool temperatures it will take a little while to dry the track.
