Google Maps says it takes 22 minutes. Driving a rental car like a rental car should be driven... 15 minutes EASY!

It's 20 miles from St Louis Lambert airport to the track.

The airport is actually not in the city of STL. It is in STL county. The city of STL is the width of the river away from Granite City. If you like smoked meat try Bullys Smokehouse in Edwardsville, 15 minutes away from the track. If you like a cheap food beer joint try Fast Eddies in Alton. The best pizza in the world is at Roma's in Bethalto. The best Italian food outside Italy is on The Hill in STL, like Rigazzis.

If you want BBQ in St. Louis, Pappy's Smokehouse in downtown St. Louis rates as one of the best in the country. I try to get there once a week or so, it is fabulous!
