will they run the race format of USAC or MSCS?
didnt know if they will qualify or draw?
anybody know?

As per the USAC entry that is posted at www.usacracing.com

They will be using the MSCS passing points format.

Each USAC car entrant and driver will receive 60 appearance points for this event, no other points will be awarded.

There will not be any National Drivers Championship points awarded for this event.

It was mentioned at Haubstadt over the PA system that it will be a full MSCS points night. And as Sandy stated, they will follow MSCS passing points format.

I am looking forward to this race. The one thing I do not like about the co sanction is it takes ( for me anyway) the best part of both groups shows. With the MSCS the best part is some of the young guys not old enough for USAC insurance can't run. On the USAC side I think qualifing is a better format even though passing points are better than MSCS has had in the past. Hope we have good weather.
