Tony showed up this morning to start tail end of a 24 car field that included Schrader, Bryan Shaw, and Shelby Howard from Indiana. Tony put on a show, made it up to second before time ran out, finishing runner up to Schrader. Tony was great in his interview after the race. I guess he's now back to Atlanta for the race tomorrow. This guy is such a racer
In a similar but unrelated story, last night at Eldora, with a car count of 52 UMP Modifieds, the winner was Matt Westfall. That guy's a pretty good racer, too.

A man is about as big as the things that make him angry.

That marked Matt's 3rd modified victory of the season(10th overall on the year).
6/5 Millstream
8/27 Waynesfield
9/4 Eldora
Matt will also be in competition at the World 100 this coming weekend!
I was watching the finals of the NHRA Nationals from Indy around 5:00 p.m. and just before the Top Fuel final they interviewed Tony on the starting line. He must have made a stop on his way back to Atlanta.
This is Tony . Him and Schrader were funny as hell in Victory lane. The race was the best mod race I've ever seen on a mile. Close racing and a lot of passing. The overcast sure helped.
