CJ Leary Wins at Mount Lawn

CJ Leary took the win in the 20-lap UMRA feature at the Mount Lawn Speedway. The dominant win was Leary’s sixth of the 2011 season and the seventh for the Tom and Susan Sanders owned #14. Second place went to Jason Goff, third was Terry Goff, fourth was Trent Henderson, and Brandon Gray rounded out the top five.
The eight-lap heat races were won by CJ Leary and Jason Goff. The Tony Stewart “Smoke The Field” Challenge went to Brandon Gray who started eighth and finished fifth in the feature. After mechanical problems in practice, Brandon Ladyman took the Green-Tech Lubricants “Hard Luck” Award.
The next race for the UMRA is Saturday September 3 back at Mount Lawn for a 50-lapper.
