Thursday I went to the Hendricks County Fairgrounds to the new track , which they were finishing when I got there. They had a good clay for the surface, but the track was rather short. The plans are to lengthen and widen it in the future. As it is now it is perfect for mini sprints and carts. It is a rather tight fit for TQ's.
The beginnings of a good local bull ring for smaller wheel based cars. As for the dustiness of the racing, I would attribute that to the guys driving off the surface and into the infield. A couple tires in the corners will solve that problem.
I know some members of the fair board like the idea, and with a little community support , you just may end up with a nice little track there.
