Looks like the rain system is weakening as it gets closer to us. Lets keep our fingers and toes crossed that the O'conners can get a show in before August hibernation.

I'm thinking with all dryness, even if we got rain I wouldn't think it would hurt, at least let's hope we get it in

A friend of ours says it is raining very hard in Lafayette right now. The O'connors have a better view than we do as they should be driving thru some of the weather to the west of us. As hard as the ground is flooding may be an issue. Light drizzle just started with thunder and lightning off to the west. Fingers crossed.

Rained preety good here (15 miles west of track) for about 20 minutes, now just very light rain. Most of the water has ran off because the ground is so hard....
