UMRA TQ Midgets at Salem Speedway on Saturday for the JayC Food Stores “Saturday Night Thunder”. This marks the first open wheel race on the new Salem Speedway quarter-mile infield oval. Also, featuring four other divisions, including the Salem Speedway Great American Stocks in a 100-lap main event on the high banks. Spectator gates open and practice at 3:30, qualifications 5:45 and the first race at 7 p.m. (EDT).

Looks to be a pretty good show, they have a 100 lapper on the big track also. 5 divisions PLUS a "Faster Pastor" race with several local pastors competing to see who is fastest. WWJD? I'd say he would use the chrome bumper!!!!!! lol It's neat the TQ's get to be the first open wheel series on the smaller track.
