Winchester Trophy??

I am not complaining, just commenting on an observation.

I saw a couple of Dave Merritt's pics from Winchester for the Rich Vogler Classic, (Great shots as always Dave, can't wait to see the rest of them), but the car on the top of the trophy is a winged sprint car.

Just curious...

For awhile in the 80s USAC ran with and without wings this may be the reason the trophy has a winged sprint car on it.

eh, some SC trophys from the 70's have stock, cars on them. I've seen one that has a cadillac on it...
