Aren't we some of the luckiest sprintcar fans in the world! Where else can you go to see the kind of racing that we were privy to the last 9 days. No other state has the sprint week like we have right here in Indiana. Sure the tracks weren't all perfect, but we saw some of the best talent in the country adapting to any condition. So why complain. I can't wait for next year what ever the conditions, to me it's Chrismas in July!

I was able to attend only one race, the event at Gas City. It sure seemed like Christmas to me.

I say it all the time on here, you guys are so lucky. I hate the racing we have around here. Non Winged Sprints, midgets are the ultimate race machines. The purest form of car and racing there is. In this world few people understand that faster at all costs isnt always better.

The reason we drive over 600 miles to Indiana is because of the awsome racing out there. The people are great, the tracks are real nice, although I'm not so sure about the guy who drives the water truck at Brownstown, Bloomington was good and Tri-State wasn't the best race, from what the regular fans tell me, but to see Windom win the championship was well worth the 11 hour drive from Reading PA:2:

That's why I keep trying to talk my wife into moving to Indiana. I've even started talking to my Son about IU never too soon to start thinking about college.

Until then I'll have to settle for my 3 or 4 days a year seeing the best darn racing one can ask for.

I went to only two ISW races this year; Lawrenceburg and Bloomington. In spite of that I feel very lucky. When I wasn't at the races I followed it on IOW with Chris Nunn, Robin Elson, Midgy and a few others doing their very best to keep us updated.

Despite being nearly 10 minutes from the Indiana border on the Ohio side I've enjoyed being an "Honorary Hoosier" these past several days.

I couldn't agree more. I set a new record for myself this year and was able to enjoy 6 of the 7 ISW shows and was not disappointed with any of the shows. Xmas in July? around here it's almost Xmas every weekend. our biggest problems depend on what day it is...Friday night do I go to Bloomington or Gas City? Saturday night...Putnamville? Paragon? Lawrenceburg? Sunday...Kokomo or Tri-State? decisions decisions. A few years ago I was fortunate enough to be chatting with Cory Kruseman and asked him if it wasn't a pain to haul all the way across country to come to Sprint Weeks and he told me that he could do more racing here in 2 weeks than he could do at home in 2 months. YES we are lucky to live in Indy. Congrats to Chris Windom for the ISW Championship and to the 6 ISW night winners. It was racing at its best with the worlds greatest racers. THANKS to all the competitors for 10 days of excitement, I look forward to it again...next weekend! bob

p.s. just for the record let me also mention & Thank the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis Raceway Park, Anderson Speedway, Speedrome, Winchester, Salem, the Terre Haute Action Track, Brownstown, North Vernon, Mt. Lawn and so many others who put on great shows, whether they're weekly or special events. bob

it was great to see 4 out of the 7 and it makes me prould to say that i live in the racing capitiol of the world here in indiana. when you meet fans that come from far away and spend the entire week here going from race track to race race track the entire week and coming over to where we were park and spend the day out with us and cooking out and talking racing all day long. we here in indiana have the greatest dirt track and the greatest brickyard in the world. thanks for all the great fans that come to indiana and thanks to all the great track employees that make this happen. we love you all !!!!!!!!!
