Congrats to Brad Kuhn for breaking my dad's 41 year old record at Angel Park for a 30 lap feature. My dad and grandpa were very proud of that record. It was there own car (Old Blue) I am sure even they would be amazed that a record set in August of 1970 lasted until late June of 2011.

Actually, that was a 41 year old track record. That makes it even more impressive that it stood that long.

I gotcha, Robbie. What an amazing record! I love track records, and I especially love when I see track records that have stood for a while. That this one survived so long is crazy, and impressive.
Congrats to Brad on lowering it... |

I miss Larry Rice more with every passing day. He was a fun guy to be around and one of the finest people I've ever known. And he was a helluva race driver.
