Well Ron if it wasnt for the 3+ inches he has gotten in the last 2 days he would probably have gotten the race in. Tommy has gotten plenty of races finished when most would have thrown in the towel. I would think you would give him the benefit of the doubt this time.

You are right. It is probably an issue with parking, because he has run races after receiving prodigious amounts of precipitation in the past. We are just so disappointed because there are no more sprint car races there until July 16.
I'm also not sure the track was not without power for some time. I got word from someone who lives a couple of miles from there saying they were without power from the storms that rolled through about 5am. Pumps may not have been working in the infield but as others suggested it may have more to do with the parking or what would have been the lack thereof...
