The 3rd Annual Firestone Racing “Evening of Giving” benefit concert and auction presented by WTTS radio is scheduled Tuesday, May 6 at the Music Mill in Indianapolis, Ind. Benefitting “Racing for Corey,” the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund and IRL Kids, the affair has achieved huge success in its first two years.
Admission is $40, while groups of 20 are $600 and groups of 35 are $900. To secure info regarding this most worthwhile cause and for tickets call (317) 356-7279 or you can call the USAC office in Speedway at (317) 247-5151. The event begins at 7:30 pm and concludes at 10. Sponsored by Indianapolis radio station WTTS (92.3 FM), which offers world class rock, then event includes silent and live auctions of racing items and memorabilia as well as celebrity driver autograph sessions. Numerous USAC, Indy Racing League and Indy-Pro Series race drivers are expected to be on hand to sign for race fans. Local soul-blues singer Jennie DeVoe will also perform on stage. “Racing for Corey,” not-for-profit, was founded in 1999 in memory of a 9-year-old Indiana Children’s Wish child, Corey Hanchar. Corey was granted a wish from Indiana Children’s Wish Fund and received a red quarter-midget car. With the help of KECO Coatings and Indy-car driver Tyce Carlson, Corey’s wish came true. Now his inspiration continues through various Racing for Corey events chronicled at www.racingforcorey.com The Music Mill restaurant is located at 3720 East 82nd Street on the northeast side of Indianapolis. |

Mr. Klepper is right this is a great night of giving, Josh has been a part of this deal for a long time and we still enjoy every get together. If you can make it I would mark it down on your calender. Hope to see you there.
