Highlights of the 2011 Indianapolis 500. At the 8:30 of the clip, there is a restart of the race. Watch Tomas go up up high in turn 1,kicking up dust as he passes 11 cars on one lap. I guess hanging around Jack Hewitt rubbed off on him.

On two different occasions going into turn 3, Scheckter went around the outside three-wide, sliding sideways and completed the pass. He is flat out awesome and needs to be in a full-time ride. I remember when he was "Tomas Wreckter" earlier in his career, but as years have gone by, his maturity has grown but his bravery has never gone away.

Sitting in turn one I kept thinking other drivers would move up top after seeing him pick off 4, 5, even 8 drivers once, on the restarts -- but few did.

He's always been fast and one I always watch. There is no fear there. He's learned a few things and can harness having no fear now.

I think he and and dirt would getting along well. Like to see him give it a go once.
