Typical USAC. Here we sit. Rain moving in. They are aware of that. And we are sitting around watching a drag car do a burn out. Rain is supposed to be here in 20-25 minutes. And we got done with our heat races at 8 o'clock.

You've never been under a serious threat of rain, all night. South of I-70, maybe. Up around Lafayette, definitely. But Clermont, Avon, Speedway, etc. were in the clear.

I bet if USAC had hurried things along because of the threat of rain, you would have complained that you were not given enough time between the heats and feature to get the car ready and talked of the fact there was not even a threat of rain.

I was in my van by 9:08 pm. Can't complain about that.

Congrats to Kody Swamson for the win and Carrytheleftfront for a pointless rant.
