The new Southern Open Wheel Series has kindly extended an invitation to ECOtec powered cars, and recently announced a $100 bonus for the highest finishing ECOtec car. At the first ever SOWS event, car owner Tim Fenton and driver Kevin Bayer made the most of the opportunity by not only collecting the $100.00 bonus, but also the $1,000.00 FIRST PLACE check for a total of $1,100.00! Eric Fenton also placed 5th on this night in the other Tim Fenton / RRE ECOtec.

Based on this result and the great work that series founder Cody Brewer is doing with SOWS, Revolution Racing Engines would like to encourage all RRE ECOtec owners to support this great new program. To that end, RRE is going to sweeten the pot for RRE ECOtec participants. For the remainder of this season, the bonus for the top finishing RRE ECOtec at a SOWS event will be $150.00, and we'll also give a $50.00 bonus to the second highest finishing RRE ECOtec car. Finally - and Cody doesn't even know about this one yet - Any RRE ECOtec that can win another SOWS race will recieve a $300.00 bonus instead of $150.00.
