Jason Cox-
With the start of the Must See Racing Extreme Sprint Series season down to hours away, 2010 Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series Champion and Rookie of the Year Jason Cox has his Dick Fieler owned, Victory Racing Engines, Hurricane Chassis ready to take on the High Banks of the legendary Salem Speedway on Saturday April 9th. Racing season is finally here!!
Jason and his crew have been busy getting everything on the car the way Jason feels most comfortable with. They have been out testing when the weather allowed with the American Racer Tire that is now required for all Must See Sprinters.
Jason will be running in this years Little 500 in a different Dick Fieler speedster.
When you look for Jason on the track this year do not look for the black number 40 he campaigned most of last year. This years model is white and magenta with the blue number 40X on the car.
Dana and I had a chance to sneak up to the shop and check things out, of course if you visit a race car shop be prepared to do some work!
By the looks of things Jason should be up front with the addition of all of the updated equipment.
Look for Jason’s Dad Tim to be racing at the Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series Shows. He is currently looking for a ride with the Must See Racing Extreme Sprint Series.
