The Mopar USAC National Midget Car Series makes its initial visit to Southern National Raceway in Kenly, N.C. April 12.

For race fans and participants attending, the Days Inn at 139 Johnson Parkway in Kenly, N.C. will serve as USAC race headquarters. There is ample parking on the back side for transporters and family accommodations are available.

When making reservations, please mention USAC and the race at Southern National Raceway.

A special racers rate of $56.00 has been offered by hotel management.

I spoke with Mr. Klepper and he informed me that USAC does not receive commision for directing patrons to their headquarter hotels. They are simply trying to inform the fans and participants of USAC racing of the best accomodations and deals. I wanted to make sure that by posting this, I wasn't stepping on any toes. He gave me the "go-ahead". Which ever way you decide to book, still be sure to mention you are there for the USAC midget race. We need to help build the brand to gain more new racing facilities like the one in Kenly, NC.
