Starla takes win at Ft. Wayne!!!

Starla took win Friday night at the Rumble!!! Got to thank Larry Cleveland for giving Starla a ride in the car that won!!! I know I've herd all about it Starla got a ride in a car that would run!!!
 I had problems with her car all weekend but got to say thanks to Mr. Clouse for helping out with the gearing and Starla getting a heat race win in her car!!! Then of course I took back over and things went down hill again!!! Also got to thank KOKOMO SPEEDWAY for all there help in sponsering her for the last several years and hopfully again this year!!! I don't think people understand what the O'Conners do for the sport of racing and what they do for the Kids also!!! Thanks so much!!! Also got to thank Tony and Larry for putting on one hell of a show every year!!! To be honest I know don't know how they do it with all the racing they get threw in one day!!! Yes we've been scored wrong more than once but you know I sat down with Starla and we talked about it and she stated: Dad I didn't win so who cares!!!  But when I look at it every year we go to the Rumble Starla learns so much and goes home with more friends than she had before going!!! The best part to me is getting to meet several of the new faces form the IOW board its great!!! But the bad part to me is I seen several of these members many times at different race tracks and didn't know them!!! Another thing that's great is that were pitted with the midget drivers and to see Starla just hanging out with several of the midget drivers and there familys I'm lovin every bit of it like Dave Darland & wife and sisters. Starla learns so much form the midget drivers I couldn't believe it. When she won and was coming off the track there all line up giving her high fives it was great and she was loving every bit of it!!! But one of the bad things is Starla loves hanging out by the snow cone & Ice cream set ups that the Rumble offers!!!

I'm so glad I was there to see it! It was great seeing you all too!! This summer I vow to make it to the KQMC!!
