Just looking at the web site for Bloomington Speedway and noticed they had rules for hornets but not modifieds. Does this mean they are changing the support classes for next season?
At the banquet Mike Miles said he was running his same three divisions next year, and also a limited Hornet schedule. He said he had thought about the Hornets for a while, and decided it was time to introduce them.
Well I would much rather watch modifieds then Hornets that's for sure, but when you don't get a full field (less then 20) of cars on a normal basis I can understand the change, for the business side of things, As the payout for the hornets will probably be peanuts compared to the mods. However, I know this will probably affect me going to the track as I have no desire to watch the hornets, always loved the mods. Guess its Gas City for me on friday nights.
Now, are we really going to let the once in a while occurrence of Hornets keep us from coming to Bloomington Speedway? 99 percent of you on here go just to watch the Sprints, once the Sprints are over, leave. Simple enough

Well I like just about every class that runs but I can't stand hornets. When I pick a track to go to, I go to where I feel I will get the best overall show, and If I have to choose between Modified or Hornets, its a pretty simple decision, not to mention Gas City is closer.
Will the hornets be added to the three existing classes, or will it replace a class on occasion through out the season? Basically I guess I am not sure if on the nights that hornets run, will there be 3 or 4 classes running. I agree with Chris about staying for all the races. Putnamville runs 4 classes and there have been times I have left after the sprint race, and times I stayed for all the races that evening. It just depends on how I feel and how early I have to get up the next morning following the drive home. Having the hornets run is not going to keep me from watching the sprints at Bloomington.

There is no active link, but it has UMP modifieds rules under the sprints, hornets, and super stock rules. Actually hornets are the only one of the group that has an active link.
