Just a thought.

It just hit me, WoO hasnt been here for a long time, and then they randomly appear on the schedule. Gives you something to think about over the winter lol

I'd be really surprised. I talked to him several times this year and he sure didn't talk like he was ready to quit. For my own selfish reasons I hope not also. Steve and Sammy are still my favorite drivers to watch. Steve hasn't slowed any, on most nights he passes more cars than anyone. If he could improve his qualifying program a little he would have won the championship this year. Maybe his wife's health has him considering it?

There were some other observations, such as SKR not fielding a team next year, but then again Kraig is moving to the 6 car, and Steve drives for TSR, so theres really no need for SKR to even have a team next year. And its been known that WoO is strugging to find tracks so they are signing anyone that will take them, money is hard to come by

Gotta love the offseason rumor mill.

Some said 2010 was the year of the old guys on the outlaw tour as Steve was in the title hunt for most of the year and Sammy showed a lot of speed in the Big Game car when ever he raced.

Ya never know though, farewell to #11 in 2011. Really though I think those two guys are gonna race until they just can't anymore.

In its own way that would be as good as the Kinser family match race they had at Putnamville several years ago where there were so many entrants that it took two heat races to sort things out.

Steve has made a good living travelling during his career, wouldn't it be cool to see him race every Friday night at Bloomington with the convertible?
