That may have come as a result of the Kokomo Klash Friday. He took a hell of a ride into the fence.

First off, I am very excited about this program. However, does anyone have any of the small print details?

Which team will the ride be with? Is IndyCar/IZOD sponsoring the car the entire season? Is there another sponsor lined up? How many oval races do they have?

Can a driver win the scholarship in back to back years? Can a person win it more than once?

I want to be excited about this announcement. However, I am a little cautious at this point.

Thanks for the link. Benard seemed very passionate about this program.

Do people think that this is going to help USAC get more full time drivers and teams?
