Not racing related but here is a number to save you some money, telemarketers are going to start calling cell phones in five days. By calling 888-382-1222 you can be put on the no call list, this only takes a min.

No disrespect meant to Jerry, but this scam has been going around for quite a few years now. Whether it be a do not call website or a phone number to call, they've all been scams when related to cell phones.

Before giving your cell phone number to someone for this, I would suggest contacting your cell phone provider to see that this is the case.

In the past, these have been elaborate phishing scams to get you to give them your number. The websites have even looked official with ".gov" at the end.

At the very least, wait and see what happens after the five days have passed.

***Here's something I found when googling that number:

I believe there is a federal law banning telemarketers from calling cell phone numbers and can face stiff penalties if they do so.

If I am wrong I apologize.

check this site for info: http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/consum.../nocelldnc.htm

They have an electronic box out now that hooks up between your phone and the plug in the wall that changes your caller ID number displayed on the other person's end to some random number.

And it's legal.
