if anyone is looking for something to do tomorrow (and is brave enough to be seen at a afternoon winged race), Millstream OH is running winged 410's, winged 305's and late models @ 3 tomorrow.

David,
Didn't see you there, but you probably were. A nice crowd on hand for a very warm, late season race. I just wished that they would have had a better track to perform on. Two serious problems with daytime racing today, wind and 80 plus degree temperature.
Any idea what the plans are for next year at Millstream? I thought it was interesting that Dean Miracle was there helping out. Maybe that is why he has left Waynesfield?

I planned on going but my back was hurting so bad, I could not face the drive or the grandstands. I cancelled lburg too. I am trying to get it revived for my trip to haubstadt for woo.
As for the track, I am not sure. There have been a few things on pitgate but nothing concrete. Swamp or duane hancock might know

They said there were going to be a handfull of shows this year too and look what happened, 2 shows.
As for the track you cant run 2 shows a year and expect anything ebtter than what we had yesterday.

Geoff,
I wasn't complaining. I realize that it takes a lot of effort to take a race track that has been closed and bring it back to life. I appreciate everyone's efforts to get Millstream back up and running. If the weather would have been better (lower temperatures, less wind and some moisture) it would have been much better. However, with that being said, an October show with warm temperatures and sprint car racing can't be all bad.
It will be interesting on how this whole story develops. My earlier comments were from a fans point of view. Millstream will probably be a special events track and it would be a nice addition if that were to happen. Something to look forward to this winter and spring.

I knew Duane Hancock would have the scoop.
I have not made it there yet. However, what I can tell from the comments on pitgate and else where, the place has been sputtering to life. I think if the current group can give it a little care it might be able to survive as a good special event track.
