Looks good on paper is there any idea about the speeds that they expect. Turn 10 seems that it might be the hardest because of the drop off. I use to live 7 miles from Silverstone in the UK and this is where I started to enjoy F1. I think every race fan should see at least one F1 race in their life, there is nothing like it!!!!!!!!!!!!! As long as it is not during Indiana Sprint Week I will try to be there.

It only needs four 90° left hand turns. Everything else is excess.

I have a client in Austin so I have been there several times. I have to admit that the city is awesome and can accomodate the entertainment needed for such an event. One of their big city promotions was "Keep Austin Weird." The focus was to keep out food chains and let the locals bring their own variety of restaurant cuisine. As a hoosier, take this with a grain of salt, but you will not find better places to eat. What I don't know is if they have the hotel rooms needed for such an event. Flying into Austin is very expensive and there are no direct flights. The Austin airport is well laid out and everytime I have been there, I didn't have to wait on my bags for more than a few minutes.

There are plenty of BBQ and real mexican places and some are up in the mountains which have nice views of the sky line. I'm not sure it will be a success, but it would be fun to go.

When ever I see or hear anything regarding F1, I just can't get past that little freakin' tyrant, Bernie Ecclestone.
In my opinion, he is nothing but a bloody little wanker.

Here is a nice picture of the "little" fellow and his Croatian ex-wife Slavica.
