I don't remember Jack driving this car. ('course Jack has drove a lot of different cars through the years)

During this time period he was driving the Nickles Brothers #31 at Limaland, etc.

Johnny Beaber was driving a blue 3x back then (but I think he owned that car himself??)

I remember Fred Linder coming to Little Springfield in a white 3X. I believe it was for the first Shaheen's Super Weekend, but could be mistaken. I do remember that the only thing they had to keep the drivers out of the infield was a chalk line around the inside of the track. They were told that they couldn't drive below the chalk line. Yeah, right. You all know what happened the first time someone got passed on the inside by someone who was just a little below the line, then someone got a little lower... For a while I wondered which would come first, the end of the race or a race around the scorer's stand.

Fred won the race, but got disqualified because they said he went below the chalk line. That was true, but so did most if not all of the other cars. Wasn't too long after that that Little Springfield got something more substantial than a chalk line to keep drivers out of the infield.

I remember Freddy driving the 3x (owned by Kemenah) with the All-Stars.

But I sure don't remember Jack driving a white 3x......then again I was 7 in 1979
