The Cincinnati Modified Championship would see first time winners take checkers in the series this weekend. Randy Wash would take the win at Moler Raceway Park on Friday Night. Dennis Roberson would come home victorious at Florence Speedway on Saturday. Rain would wash out the race at Lawrenceburg on Saturday.

This week the modifieds are the undercard for two big memorial races. The Ike Moler Memorial takes place at Moler on Friday Night. On Saturday Night Sprint car legend **** Gaines is honored with his Memorial race at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
