I've never been to Paragon as its too far from my house but I always read the sprint car results. I saw last night that they had 33 cars and ran two features. Are most of these cars steel blocks? I read the names and don't usually see those drivers run other tracks. Is this a spec series? Just intrigued. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Anytime you can get over 30 sprinters in the gate you're doing something right.

Thanks

You can run any type of engine aluminum or steel, they split the feature up and run 2 mains. The $ is also split verse other tracks so you run for approx 1/2 what other tracks pay to win, however since they run 2 mains a lot more people get to take home some cash. I like the idea, and someone doesnt need to spend $40k on an engine to make a main and get a little$

Maybe a couple steel blocks but not many.

On most nights it is a multi-feature night. There are a few exceptions for special night of racing. It's a great place to get laps and experience. It's a run what you brung type of rules, no tire rule and no engine rules.

I run a 1987 Challenger with an old Silver Crown engine and have a ton of fun doing it, I'm progressively getting faster and I'm not going broke.

There are a lot of people running just like me and yes there are also some really good high dollar cars there as well. As with running a sprint car anywhere in Indiana there are always good cars and great competition. I know you said it's a little far away for you to go but on most nights you get to see 2 sprint car features and a bunch of good racing with the Tin top classes.
