Where was Ricky Logan?

After seeing his name pre-entered a month ago for the usac non-wing
nationals at knoxville i spent the next 30 days anxiously anticipating
this event for the chance to see such a brave,talented,non-wing advocate take off the wing and race a real sprint car. However, come
race time,no Ricky Logan to be found in the pit area. At this point I
became worried and began to search the Marion County Fairgrounds for
an explanation. Low and behold I found his hauler parked outside of
turn 3 and asked a crew member about Ricky. Apparently he suffered a
broken nail unloading the car and being a sunday in Knoxville there were
no salons open so they rushed him to Des Moines to get it repaired. I hear the repair went fine as he is running the nationals now and I expect to see him on the ASCS topless tour next week......right?
