Found an article in the Orlando Sentinel today that says the Speed World's days could be numbered. It is a very intertesing article describing the scene short tracks across the country are facing in todays economy. While the drag strip is running three nights a week at Speed World with good crowds, the oval track running Fridays nights is seeing dwindling car counts with only a few hundred people in the stands.
Sorry I couldn't get a link to the article to work for what ever reason, but it is easy to find just go to Orlando Sentinel and bring up sports.
