The heat race in the first photo (dirt) or the second one at a paved track??? I know what I liked and will be back for more next year come July. It was great meeting so many new IOW folk plus seeing some of the ones I already knew. I had a great 4 days in Indiana. The only two down sides was one, Bloomington's track on Friday night was crap and that Kokomo was off this past Sunday.

One interesting thing was that I met so many people from Reading PA out there. I think they should build a track near Reading and run Non- Wing Sprints.

I am primarily an open-wheel fan.

I live in Speedway so I attend most open-wheel races at I(O)RP. I'm not sure there is a much better race than midgets at IRP.

Of course, the same thing can be said about sprint cars at THAT.

Loud, fast, and big staggers - fun on dirt or pavement!

Not bashing at all as you can see I go to all kinds of racing all over. (216 tracks and counting) But if you want to see side by side racing like the first photo shows, you gotta like your chances at a Dirt USAC sprint car race. just saying!!!!JMHO

I've never been to Bloomington. One of the last times I was at Winchester it was a 20 lap battle for the lead after 2nd place came back from 2 laps down. This started on lap 360. While they eventually wrecked (and I've never seen two cars that destroyed), it was great racing while it lasted.

I have been to both Pavement and Dirt track races. I have seen some good racing on both, however i have seen more better and closer racing on Dirt than Pavement. Also have seen some good LM racing at Brownstown and Florence speedways. The Sprints at Brownstown are awesome. JMO
