T H A T and coolers?

I've heard rumors that coolers won't be allowed at Terre Haute, can anyone confirm or deny this. I don't drink much beer anymore and what I do drink I buy at the track, that being said, if they are not allowed it will change my plans on what time to get tickets. ( I don't want to be there if/when the masses find out that their lil red wagon and big blue cooler have to go back to their 1992 Cavallier.)

Thanks, Darrell

If that's the case it would kill the infield crowd.

I wonder if its a promoter thing or a fair thing, if true?

This would be promoter, but in the past, they have been allowed. The past is the past and this is a new future so who knows.

Lets try not to crucify them on the board before we know for sure what the rules are. Not that anyone here is yet but I remember the last thread on this subject.

Coolers will be allowed in tomorrow's event.

Allowing coolers in the grandstands for the Sept. 11th event is being dicussed but they will always be allowed in the infield!

Thank you,
Jill

I am going to miss tonight, but maybe I will head up to LPS on Saturday. I am getting the fever and the only cure is the rumble of a sprint car engine.

steiny,

I don't see any reason to believe that you couldn't. I'm pretty sure that Jill listed today's race and the one on Sept 11th, because that's the two remaining 2010 events that the O'Connors are involved in. From what everybody's said, I believe USAC is running and promoting the Silver Crown event, themselves.
