Waynesfield is a throw back to the old days when they built a race track in the middle of the country. A neat little bullring that I personally enjoy all types of racing. Dean Miracle has taken over the promotional reins and has done a great job. Track prep has improved and car counts have been good as well.
When I have been there, they have run a very timely program with a short intermission in the middle. The concession stand has a very good menu and pricing was very good as well.
Gerry Keysor the track announcer does a great job of keeping the fans informed. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I have even enjoyed the other non open wheel classes that they run there.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
Thanks Mike, The tracks actually five miles down the same road that my dads uncle lives on (Were always great friends and great to me). Uniapolis. I plan on visiting for awhile and heading over to the track.
Charles, Its a nice track, reminds me of the old Lawrenceburg 1/4
You will enjoy yourself, If you seen Dean (promoter) tell him i said hey!! and for that matter all the sprint teams, I'm heading to Twin Cities to catch the action there.
Have a great weekend, Dave

Thanks guys, I hope to enjoy the evening. This weekends plans totally went to hell and Im improvising. GF was supposed to be coming up but new job changed her plans and mine as well.
If you like to be out of the sun for the earlier part of the program you can sit in front of the press box for shade. THe sund will be behind you.
If there is any wind it seems to blow away from the grandstands which is great.
FInally, There are usually two flaggers. The flagman is very entertaining. He gets really pumped up for the sprint shows.
Oh and hte most important thing. Restrooms. Portajons behind the stands and regular restrooms down by the consession stand (past turn 4). I usually hoof to the regular restrooms because there can be lines at the portajohns.
