The MMSA "Winged Warrior Tour" will takes the wings off on fri. June 25th at Salem, IN This will be the first ever non-wing event for the MMSA, we hope to have a couple more this season and perhaps several next year.
All upright 1,000cc, (stock bore & stroke) mini sprints are welcome, 600's too, weight rules and other info on the MMSA website.

It has reported that someone is saying the Salem race this Friday has been cancelled. The race is a wingless race. We hope you will be there.

The big oval has a little brother now. About a 1/4 mile oval in the infield.

Did I miss something? I thought the race in question was at the Fairgrounds, dirt track. And yes, I do need to make the trip over there soon, and see what all they've changed at the Salem Speedway, it's been a while since I actually watched a race there, used to go when the Convertibles ran, in the mid 50's, as well as Sprints and midgets, then picked it up again when the East Coast Super Modfieds ran, those things were wicked fast, and standing in the infield, it felt like an earth quake. I actually knew about the 1/4 mile oval on the inside, but since I haven't been there for a couple of years, I didn't know if it was operational yet.

I've passed by the fairgrounds dirt oval there in Salem before but never saw a race there.
