Eldora is too far away for me to attend, but doesn't this race raise money for the Petty kids camp? If so it's worth supporting if people can make it.

It has supported the Petty camp, Victory Junction in the past. This year they are supporting four different children's hospitals. Yet another very worthy cause.

While I'd love to see Kanaan run dirt, it's not enough to overcome having to sit (or should I say stand) around Ricky Bobby Fan all night. I'll take a pass....you keep 'em in line.

All kidding aside, it's fun to sit in a crowd passionate about a multitude of drivers. Going to a NASCAR race was so much fun in the early '90s partly for that reason.
