Anyway, in the January, 2000 issue of Open Wheel I encountered a nice article about our own D. O. Laycock.

It brought back memories of 16th Street (the 2nd generation) Speedway, K.T. and D.O. and Dru at Belleville, D.O. telling a midget driver not to run for a certain car owner because "his feet stink and he doesn't believe in Jesus" and a lot of other fun from days forever gone except in out memories. You kids "shoulda been there" !!
