I know there are some model car builders on here - thought I'd share what's coming up this fall from Revell. These are all-new models, not copies of the older kits.

I know what I'll be working on this winter...:2:

I'll pass on the Rustang..........

But, those midgets look way too cool! Would be even neater if they included an old station wagon to hook the trailer to

Thank you for posting this!!!!!!! My son and I are in the process of building one of the AMT/ERTL Grant King Sprint car kits. I built about 3 of these in my teen years along with hundreds of the Monogram sprint car kits. After we finish the car we are going to pick up an open trailer kit and a 50's/60's pickup to complete the package.

NOW I can finally build a midget model....just hope I can find a 40's station wagon or pickup to pull it with....

THANKS AGAIN FOR POSTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know if these will be 2 seperate kits or if both engine choices come in the same kit???

Thanks for the info. I'll definitely be building the Offy Midget this summer. I built one of the Grant King sprint cars as a kid. I collect toy race cars and SOMEHOW kept that car together. It sits on a shelf in my collection.

from another board:

"The midget racers are brand new 1/25 scale tools, typical of race cars from the early ‘50’s and into the ‘60’s, and they’ll come with brand new trailers and brand new tires! They’ll be molded in white and will include chrome and satin parts, plus a photoetched instrument panel and hood straps. One kit will have an Edelbrock V8 and the other will have an Offy engine with a choice of carbs or injectors. Each will have a unique nose and bumper, too, and graphics will be more elaborate than those shown on the new flier"

one more thing ----due dates-----September through January. I do know that the midgets will be released about a month and a half apart
great news for midget lovers for sure !!!
