SMRS/USAC AND ROCKY MOUNTAIN MIDGETS !!!!
$2000 to win Saturday Night

May 21st and 22nd will see the SMRS/USAC Midgets and the Rocky Mountain Midgets face off for a two day ‘HIGH PLAINS SHOOTOUT’ at the beautiful Dodge City Raceway Park. With the Saturday night Championship Feature set to pay $2000 to the winner, and $150 to start, a large field is expected for the two day show that has always been the scene of some of the most exciting racing of the year. Entries have been phoned in from Il, Mo, Ia, Ks., Tx., Ok., Co., and Ne. Promoter Ed Beckley will allow free camping in the pits if you chose to stay. There are lights and water by each pit at Dodge City. If you choose to go in to a motel, there is a Days Inn with $58.00 rooms. You can leave your trailer at the track if you want. The restrooms in the pits will be open also. For those of you who have witnessed the Cowtown Speedway Races in Ft. Worth the last couple of years, you won’t want to miss this weekend. If you haven’t seen these Midgets race at this track, you won’t want to miss it. Fans will be allowed to bring their Motor Homes and campers into the pits for the night if they desire.
