First 10 seconds shows a rear-engined car on dirt. What's that all about ?

At the 4:28 mark, it shows Foyt perched on the back seat of the USAC Ferrari V12 Pace Car ! I think USAC should bring back this idea. Kevin Miller could shake down Ferrari for a loaner !

NASCAR figured it out OR managed to get lucky. IF I were a driver these days, I'd have to endure all those taxi cab runs JUST to drive a front engined race car at Indy--same shut off points for the most part with skinny tires--and American colleagues.
