This is the Asian Persuasian, a.k.a. Adam Nigg. I am the VP of the Purdue Motorsports Association. Part of my duty this semester is to orchestrate a motorsports oriented car show known as "Motorsports on The Mall." This 3rd annual show will showcase cars from various series at a location at Purdue University known as the Purdue Engineering Mall. Last year we had somewhere around 15 cars show up.
Since taking over the reins of this show, I have determined that I want to expand the car show. This is where you come in:
I would like to showcase any available historical race cars from any series. It doesn't matter how old the car, it will be appreciated. The date will be the 22nd of Apriil. We will be serving lunch to the exhibitors. The event is open to any and everyone who would like to attend; there is no charge to view the show.
Last year we had a hand full of sprint cars, the Army top fuel dragster. a Screaming Eagle pro stock bike, an indy car, a CART car, several ALMS vehicles, as well as some sport bikes and other roadsters. I would like to treat Purdue to a car show several times larger this year, perhaps showcasing a few vendors as well.
Anyone who knows of or owns a race car from any series, historical or modern, or anyone interested in attending this event is encouraged to contact me anytime at:
