All I can say is wow. What an improvement over last years race. I know that the track was still small but the majority of the action was anything but small. For most of the weekend the track was multi-laned with the outside being just as fast if not faster than running on top of the inside berm. The show that Jon Stanbrough put on Friday in his heat race was nothing less than spectacular to say the least. That man can truely drive any open wheel car. I think that the race to have seen though came Saturday night in one of the three b-mains. The battle between Hmeil, Cottle and Jimmy Light was worth the price of admission. Hmeil came from the back to win using every inch of the track, and did it as cleanly as what can be done on a track that size. The driving skills that kid has are really something to see.
