I nominated him for the HARF HALL OF FAME for this year. I hope you are there to accept his award to be in. He deserves it 100%. Everyone please vote for Sheldon!!

I was at the IMS Museum yesterday and Sheldon Kinser's name was on the plaque with the list of all of the HARF hall of famers by year.

I can't remember exactly what year but I'm pretty sure he was inducted in the early 1980s.

But one thing for sure, his name was on that plaque.

Now that I think about it, I'm sure it was 1987 that Sheldon Kinser was inducted to the HARF Hall of Fame.

I sure enjoyed watching Sheldon in the Champ Dirt Cars
and Sprints. What a great talent he was. Hope I didn't

Just to bring everyone up to speed on this, Sheldon Kinser was inducted into the HARF Hall of Fame in 1987, along with many other HARF awards he received over the years, Sheldon was our Driver of the Year in 1982, along with winning one of HARF's most prestigious awards, the Pat O'Connor award in 1975. Sheldon was always at our Banquets to receive these awards and many other awards for track & sanctioning body championships.
This confusion was our fault, we left Sheldons name off the list of previous HoF winners and he was nominated again this year (and as a note, would have been inducted again if we hadn't caught it earlier). We have spoken to Susan and apologized for our oversight. bob
