OT: Winter racing

Just dreaming here...wouldn't it be neat to see snow mobile racing at some local tracks like the Burg? I know snow in Indiana is sorta unpredictable, but if you want racing in Feb., you could always truck in snow from Perfect North. I bet Dave could get a couple portable snow machines to the track.

Believe me, here in Minnesota, we could hook you right up with a couple of snow makers. I've already been skiing twice so far.

We have a great weekend of snowmobile races here in Plymouth every year. I will look up the dates and post them in case anybody wants to make a road trip. It's usually in January.

Tim, if we had that much snow down here on a regular basis, I'd be a Dave Foist like snowbird.
Marv will tell you that I'm way too old to carry mail in the snow.

The dates are January 9th and 10th. Here is the website of the club that puts the race on. plymouthsnowrangers.com
They have some video from last year on there also. If anybody needs any info about the track or the area i am at your service. ![]() |

Just bumping this up incase anybody is thinking about making the trip and needs any info. They also have a heated BEER tent with tv's carrying the live on track action.
