From Hoseheads: Promoter Dan Thiel of STM Promotions announced today than open competition midget racing and the IRA Sprint Cars Series, will headline the 2010 "Ninth annual Sue Thiel Memorial" at Dodge County Fairgrounds. The event is scheduled for Friday Night July 2 at the Dodge County Fairgrounds. The Mid America Stock Car Series will join the evenings' events marking their first ever dirt-track event in the organizations 17-year history! The midget event which be open competition, which will require all cars to weight at least 900 pounds, and a Hoosier SP-4 / or American Racer SD50 will required to be run on the right rear wheel. The event will pay $2,500 to win, and $200 to start. The "Fourth annual Stan Fox Memorial"" on Friday Night September 3 will also feature an open competition midget/IRA doubleheader with a possible third division to be announced at a later date. Scott Hatton (midget) and Terry McCarl (sprint car) captured the 2009 Thiel events run before a near-capacity crowd. Hatton made it two straight on the lightning fast half-mile capturing the Fox Memorial Midget Race, with Mike Reinke topping the IRA Sprint Car feature.

Hopefully these shows at Dodge County can draw in a few midget cars from out of the area.
