I have a friend at work who's been wanting to watch some midget racing and I've convinced him the Chili Bowl is the show to see. He's not a mud-in-your-hair, fumes-in-your-nose kind of fan...yet, but the CB would be a great introduction for him to experience the world we all love. I'm looking for a ticket for him, but since 5 days is probably too extreme for him at this stage of fandom, he's only open to going Friday and Saturday. I know, it's tough to find tickets for just 2 days, especially this early. But I'd really like for him to see the show, so if anyone out there can help, it would be much appreciated, and we might have a new fan. Thanks.

This will be my 10th Chili Bowl. I had 2 tickets which I shared with my brother, but after he passed away I let the second ticket go for economic reasons and last year I sold my ticket to friends so they could take their small grandson. I ended up going on Saturday with another friend and getting a pit pass. We checked with some of the guys outside selling tickets but weren't willing to part with $100. I know there are always sellers outside with tickets to sell, but have never inquired about prices since I already had mine. I wondered if Emmett and Lanny had some unpurchased tickets that they were trying to make a little extra money from. Anyway, the outside sellers are always an option, but I thought if I could find someone willing to split up a set of tickets I'd prefer to head down there with tickets in hand. Thanks for your reply.
