Does anyone remember the old St. Joe Speedway in Evansville, IN. It was on St. Joe Ave. where AAA auto parts is today, thats about all I know. I got the old billboard advertising the track in a trade and would like to know more about it.
Thank You

I know my dad talked about it alot when i was a little boy. He talked about some of the names that raced there and that he used to be able to jump the fence and sneak in when he was a kid.

Dale,

Best i recall, my dad said he would sneak in when he was a teenager and he graduated in 1954, so that would mean early 50's was a time that the track was open. He also said they raced coupe cars there mainly.

Dale, I asked all my buddies about it and they all said the same thing. That you're probably the only one old enough to remember it. So I guess were SOL.
