Took this from Shelley Clayton's facebook page and thought some IOW's might be able to help daron out here. We all love to watch him run without the wing now lets see if we can make this happen!!!

They were not dt3 that he needs to run USAC or MSCS!

I'm sure it won't take long for someone to cough up some money for a couple tires

Just wondering what kind of prices do these tires run?

A dt3 is I believe 198.35 out the door at Hoosier Midwest. Sticker LRs are about 180 a piece.

they said they will be there both nights now should be fun watching the MDC go at it without the wing again

i did get to see him 3 times with the wing and got better everytime i saw him

I guess I dont understand,he decided to go run with a boxtop or lid, crutch whatever one chooses to call it and now he is looking for sponsorship to run the Burg without a wing?Sorry I just don't get it

As Aero stated, our wing tires are not legal for any non wing shows. Therefore, we have to buy a new array of non wing legal tires to give us the right combinations we need. We have raced all year on the winnings from the car to get us to the next week. Amazingly, we are 3rd in Allstar points with Blaney 100 points behind, so spending 1000+ dollars on tires right now is pretty tough to do, but with the help of others I think we can make it.Thanks for all of your support.
