Lawrenceburg Chevrolet Sprints, This is the last points night for 2009, the Champion will be crowned on Saturday Night!! Who will move up in points? who will drop out of the top ten. The top 15 are listed below. We honor the top ten at the awards banquet in November with $$$Money$$$ and prizes!! The prize money for the top ten is listed below the points.

LAWRENCEBURG SPEEDWAY POINTS SYSTEM
POINTS WILL BE AWARDED TO DRIVERS ONLY
Drivers will earn show up, heat race, and feature points. Points are awarded in the following fashion.

HEAT & POINTS
1st – 25pts.
2nd – 20pts.
3rd – 15pts.
4th – 10pts.
All heat race starters – 5pts.
A car that does not start a heat race will not earn heat points.

FEATURE POINTS
1ST – 150 11TH - 80
2ND – 140 12TH - 75
3RD – 130 13TH - 70
4TH – 120 14TH - 65
5TH – 110 15TH - 60
6TH – 105 16TH – 55
7TH – 100 17TH - 50
8TH – 95 18TH - 45
9TH – 90 19TH - 40
10TH - 85 20TH – 35

Cars failing to qualify for the main event will earn 50 points.

This is also the last night of sprint car racing until the two $10,000 back to back friday saturday sprint car races oct 2nd and 3rd. See ya Saturday!!!

Joss is a class act and I'd be proud to see his name on the Lburg record books as Track Champion. I really mean that. You walk up to this guy and he treats you like a life long friend, puts your kid in the car. GET ER DONE JOSS.

If Shawn some how ends up as champion. Again! Totally class operation. A experiement from a kart champ to sprints in two years winning heats and being a contender in used equiptment. JOB WELL DONE!

Is there a LBURG speedway club or something we can join to maybe get the Champions purse up to like 10g or a chassis or something. I want everybody to run LBURG because they want too. The operaton IMHO is totally a class act.
